July 19 Webinar Explores Prize Promotions in Social Media and Mobile Platforms

Today’s social media and mobile platforms offer companies unique outreach strategies that encourage customers to return and to spread the word about their products and services. At the same time, it is important to understand that these exciting opportunities also create legal risks and challenges. Companies may unwittingly push the boundaries of the law as they forge ahead with these new marketing strategies.

To help answer questions about the legalities of marketing on these emerging technologies, I am partnering with law firm Collen IP to introduce a series of free educational webinars focusing on social media and mobile marketing. The first webinar, entitled “Rewards, Challenges and Legal Risks in Social Media and Online Contests, Sweepstakes and Prize Promotion,” will be held on Tuesday, July 19th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm EDT.

Those who attend this webinar will learn about the myriad legal issues associated with running sweepstakes, contests, and loyalty programs in these venues.
